Hello to all of the Millard & Leah Clement family
This blog is for us to post our memories of growing up in a large family on the Castine Road. For us, Hardscrabble was that hill south of us, but the word implies scrambling to get by, so Imthink it certainly describes our childhood.
I haven’t figured this all out yet, but I hope to add all 9 of us and Mama as authors and to set up categories. We can add memories as we think of them - both things we have already flogged to death (like the announcer, stealing the birthright and “perfectly good”), and new reminisces.
Eventually this could be printed for posterity. So please contribute, and let me know if you have any suggestions. Love you all!
